Engineering posture

Company principles translated into shipping behavior and controls.

Company model

Engineering-led delivery, transparent commercials

  • fixed-scope automation engagements
  • production-first execution standards
  • handover and ownership by your team

ZSTronics is a US LLC founded in 2026 by The Founder — founder & principal engineer. There is no sales team. The person who takes your first call is the person who scopes, quotes, and builds your automation.

The company exists to remove hidden scope, hidden pricing, and hidden ownership from automation engagements.

Our operating model is simple: publish pricing bands, define scope in writing, and ship against named deliverables.

Engineering-led also means restraint: use the simplest reliable mechanism that solves the task.

Principles

What we refuse to do

Easier to hold us to than a values page:

No fake logos, reviews, or results

Founded 2026 means no logo wall yet — so there isn’t one. We’d rather show an honestly empty proof page than a decorated one; a single invented artifact would poison everything else on this site.

No vague quotes

Every quote is fixed, written, and itemized, produced after a free audit. If scope grows, we re-quote before work continues. “It depends” is an answer you’ll only ever get with numbers attached.

No lock-in

You own the workflows, the documentation, the source code, and the accounts everything runs in. Cancel the care plan and it all keeps running without us. Firing us should be a config change, not a migration.

No LLM where a cron job works

If a scheduled script does the job for fractions of a cent, we won’t sell you an AI agent for it. Choosing when not to use AI is most of the engineering — and it’s your tool bill we’re choosing with.

No launch-and-leave

Every build ships with documentation, a Loom walkthrough, alerting, and 30 days of included fixes. An automation that fails silently three weeks after handover is our failure, not yours.

Stack

The stack we run

Technical buyers judge a vendor by its tool choices, so here are ours — each with the reason it earned the slot.

n8n, self-hosted

The workflow engine. Self-hosting means no per-task fees — on the order of 100,000 executions a month for the price of a VPS.

Claude API

The LLM behind agents, email triage, and RAG. API traffic isn’t used to train models — your data stays your data.

Postgres

One boring, durable database for state, queues, and vectors alike. Twenty years of not losing people’s data.

Docker

Every deployment rebuilds from a file in a repo, not from memory of what’s on the server.

Next.js

This site runs on it: statically generated, self-hosted fonts, nothing tracking you before consent.

Cal.com

Open-source booking. Its webhooks feed the same n8n pipeline we sell — the booking flow is a demo.

Resend

Transactional email for the 5-minute lead replies we promise. Every reply time is logged, so we can’t quietly miss it.

Google Sheets

The launch CRM. A spreadsheet the whole team reads beats a platform nobody opens — see “no LLM where a cron job works,” above.

Talk to the founder

No SDR handoff. The call is with The Founder, who scopes and leads delivery. In 15 minutes, you leave with fit, scope direction, and budget range.
